We have a fantastic opportunity at our Maidstone Campus for an experienced and interactive Campus Administration Officer on a full time, term time only + weeks, permanent basis.


Key responsibilities:

  • To oversee and manage administrative processes and tasks appropriately, efficiently and effectively, including support to the Senior Team, and teachers where required
  • Line management and/or supervision of school support staff in partnership with teaching staff, to enhance their effectiveness and deliver a team culture of continual improvement
  • To ensure high standards of business ethos within the administration function of the campus and advise upon the most effective use of resources in delivering the campus objectives
  • To manage campus administration officers using positive, efficient and effective communication delegating duties in accordance with the campus operational needs and demands in liaison with the CP, regularly reviewed
  • To maintain the Campus Online SCR and support any audits and inspections (for volunteers, visitors and staff)
  • To provide administrative support to the Campus Principal, including email support, screening calls, document checking, calendar support, minute taking and other similar duties as reasonable and required by the Campus Principal
  • Oversee the inputting onto the Bromcom and Dayforce HR systems to ensure the campus data is kept up to date, provide reports as required, processing starters, movers and leavers as needed
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns and undertaking pre-employment checks, supporting interviews as required and updating the Single Central Record accordingly
  • Track the development within the campus including maintenance and reporting from the staff training database (e.g. Flick, safeguarding), issuing reminders where courses are due to expire
  • Work with integrity and maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school and staff-related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information
  • To perform such other duties as may be requested from time to time, commensurate with the role


You will:

  • Behave and communicate in a professional, positive manner always setting an appropriate example to other staff and students
  • Provide a professional, personable, customer focused service to internal and external personnel
  • Have experience of working in a personal assistant / administrative role (experience in an educational setting is desirable)
  • Have experience of working with finance, budget and similar
  • Have experience of using database application using Bromcom (training can be provided)
  • Have Grade C or above / equivalent in GCSE Maths and English
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and to work under pressure- able to meet deadlines against changing priorities and competing demands
  • Ensure high standards are maintained, progressed and promoted in all areas of work

About OneSchool Global UK Maidstone Campus

OneSchool Global UK Maidstone Campus (formerly Focus School Linton Park Campus) is an independent, all-through, co-educational, non-selective school for children aged 7-18. It has a strong Christian ethos and there are 195 pupils on its roll. Linton Park is situated in Maidstone, Kent. The school was established on its current site in 2008 in purpose-built accommodation, which has been further developed since including a new state-of-the-art Learning Centre for Primary students.
