Salary - Payscale GS7, FTE £29,819 - £32,383 (pro rata £22,115-£24,017)
Do you have an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Careers Assistant to promote and provide support for the effective delivery of Careers Education and Guidance for students.
Main roles are:
· To assist the CEIAG Lead in developing and maintaining an outstanding CEIAG service available to all students.
· To work on a broad range of routine activities to support excellence in careers at Fullbrook.
· To assist with processes in relation to CEIAG at Fullbrook in line with the National Framework, the government’s statutory careers guidance and the eight Gatsby benchmarks.
· To support all aspects of organisation, administration and evaluation for careers events e.g. work experience, evening career events, career talks and so on.
· To liaise with the community, external speakers and external agencies to provide an interesting and varied careers provision.
Fullbrook is a successful and highly popular mixed 11-18 Academy classified by Ofsted in March 2022 as “Good”. We have a centralised behaviour system allowing consistent classroom strategies with low impact processes. Our culture is friendly and supportive with a strong commitment to staff wellbeing and development. We have an active social calendar, including end of year trips, staff sporting fixtures and access to a free gym onsite.

About Fullbrook School
As a large, mixed, comprehensive we provide a high quality education for students from Year 7 to 13, with our F6 students studying their A-levels in our new sixth form building and facilities. Our research-based approach to learning leads to strong outcomes for our students, with many going on to study at Russell Group Universities.
