£12,526.51 - £12,723.06 actual salary per annum 

Plus £368.07 outer fringe allowance per annum 

 

22 hours and 30 minutes per week 

Monday – Friday 10:00am – 2:30pm 

39 Weeks of the year – term time plus inset

At Brentwood County High School, we are dedicated to provide nutritious and delicious meals to our students. Our friendly and dynamic catering team plays a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for the school community. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join us as a Catering Assistant. 

 

As a Catering Assistant, you will be an integral part of our catering team, working under the guidance of our experienced Cook. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals. 
  • Helping with the delivery and serving of food to students and staff. 
  • Ensuring all areas are kept clean and hygienic. 
  • Clearing away food and cleaning up after service. 
  • Supporting the Cook and other catering staff in day-to-day operations. 

 

Requirements: 

  • No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. 
  • A motivated and hardworking attitude. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
