Interested in pioneering youth work in the context of school chaplaincy? Sherborne Girls is looking for a chaplain’s assistant to play a key part in the school community, initiate and lead nurture groups and support the chaplain in developing creative outreach, prayer and worship. Accommodation may be available onsite for the post holder.
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the job holder to be a practising Christian. The Assistant Chaplain will reflect Christian spirituality to the community of Sherborne Girls but must have a strong appreciation of, and respect for, all faiths in our diverse and inclusive community. Engagement is vital and the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage and support the whole community.

Sherborne Girls will conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates. This check will be undertaken based on the requirements set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023.
