At The White Horse Federation Multi-Academy Trust, we put the best interests of students at the heart of every decision that we make. Across the Trust, more than 2,000 members of staff work to achieve positive outcomes for 12,000 pupils. We have a diverse family of 31 schools, including two special schools and a number of church schools. Each of our 25 primary and six secondary schools collaborate to provide a first-class education for a wide range of young people.

As a cross phase trust with huge ambition for our young people, we start the search for our next Chief Executive excited about how much we have yet to achieve. This is a great time to lead the organisation as we look to the next stage of our development which will see us realise our ambition of being the strongest performing academy trust in our region by 2027/28.

We are seeking to appoint a strong leader who can build, inspire, support and empower staff at every level to deliver our vision and embed our values. Building on the existing platform, they will adapt and implement our strategy ‘Unleashing Potential’ and develop a collaborative, joyful community that is capable of sustained delivery and which will provide a platform for potential growth in the future.

As Accounting Officer you will be accountable to the Board and the face of the organisation to external stakeholders. A key part of your role will be building a strong working relationship with the former and enhancing the profile of the Trust with the latter.

You will lead a talented Executive Team in delivering our strategy: as part of that delivery you will be focussed on unleashing their potential as well as our young people and teachers. Motivated by impact and supported by an engaged Board and brilliant team, you will develop practices and disciplines that deliver the best possible outcomes for our young people and staff and encourage a culture that celebrates success and promotes excellence and opportunity.
