Class-Based Teacher
What we are looking for:
Someone who is able to:
- Teach cross-curricular subjects to secondary students in a primary style setting
- Support the wellbeing and educational needs of young people with SEN
- Have a relationships first ethos
- Show sensitivity in listening to young people’s situations and the ability to communicate positively and effectively to reach solutions
- Work successfully both individually and within a team and be able to make informed decisions
- Be caring and understanding and have a calm assertive approach to support resilience in learning
- Actively and proactively look ahead, predicting and preventing barriers to success

About the role:
Our class-based provision is a thriving collection of eleven unique classes of secondary aged students grouped in a primary style provision, each with an amazing cohort of learners and skilled, experienced staff delivering the curriculum in well-resourced learning environment. Our students have a range of needs including Autism, SLD, SL&C, SEMH and they follow different curriculum pathways.
Salary and Hours:
Salary: Teacher - M1-UPS plus SEN allowance £2,679
This is a permanent Vacancy (5 days per week)
Hours 32.5 Hours per week
