We have an exciting opportunity for an established or newly qualified teacher to join our team as a:

Class-Based Teacher

Someone who is able to:

  • Teach cross-curricular subjects to secondary students in a primary style setting
  • Support the wellbeing and educational needs of young people with SEN
  • Have a relationships first ethos
  • Show sensitivity in listening to young people’s situations and the ability to communicate positively and effectively to reach solutions
  • Work successfully both individually and within a team and be able to make informed decisions
  • Be caring and understanding and have a calm assertive approach to support resilience in learning
  • Actively and proactively look ahead, predicting and preventing barriers to success

About the role:

Our class-based provision is a thriving collection of eleven unique classes of secondary aged students grouped in a primary style provision, each with an amazing cohort of learners and skilled, experienced staff delivering the curriculum in well-resourced learning environment. Our students have a range of needs including Autism, SLD, SL&C, SEMH and they follow different curriculum pathways.

Salary and Hours:

Salary: Teacher - M1-UPS plus SEN allowance £2,679

This is a permanent Vacancy (5 days per week)

Hours 32.5 Hours per week
