Class Teacher (Brynbach Base, Ystradgynlais)

The Governing Body of Brynllywarch Hall School are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher in their Satellite Base at Ystradgynlais (Brynbach). We are looking for someone who is an excellent classroom practitioner with a good knowledge of the Curriculum and expertise in teaching within ALN is advantageous. The successful candidate may be required to teach across a range of Key Stages depending on curriculum strengths and needs of learners at the base. The Brynbach base is for pupils who display challenging behaviour as well as additional learning needs there are 8 pupils currently on roll and we have capacity for up to 12 learners. The base offers a wealth of activities to engage the learners such as outdoor education (Forest Schools) and music therapy.
