Waverley School is a large, Local Authority maintained day school in Enfield, North London. Our pupils are ages 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties.

We are located on three sites.

             Waverley@Honilands, Acorn building, Kempe Road, EN1 4QT

We wish to recruit a full time teacher, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to develop their special educational expertise as we offer a comprehensive induction programme and opportunities for further training, including provision for ECTs. Possibility for contract to become permanent.

The successful candidate will join our thriving and successful school which was designated outstanding in March 2019.

As a teacher at Waverley, you will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver exciting, differentiated, and creative lessons to spark curiosity and wonder within our wonderful students and motivate them to fully engage in and embrace learning. You must be dedicated to developing your knowledge, skills, and attitudes and be highly organised and reflective to continually adapt your teaching according to the needs of the students. You must be an effective communicator to liaise with a range of professionals and lead a class team. You will play an integral role in developing the self-esteem, communication, confidence, and independence of every pupil you teach and you will work with the rest of the school community to cultivate young adults who are active members of society.
