What are we looking for?
We are looking for cleaners to join our team. At Liberty, we take pride in the high standards of presentation at our college. We are looking for friendly, reliable, diligent cleaners to join our team in undertaking a full range of cleaning duties.
This post is for three hours per day, Monday to Friday (4.30pm - 7.30pm) term time only, with additional deep cleans during the holidays to be arranged.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake cleaning of all areas in line with specified standards and as directed.
- Operate / use domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and material, following appropriate training.
- Store allocated equipment and materials safely and securely.
- Perform duties in line with Health and Safety regulations (COSHH) and take action where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager, immediately.
- Collect and dispose of waste.
- Refill and replace soap, hand towels and other materials.
- To fully understand the aims, objectives and ethos of Liberty Group and to reflect these in your daily working life.
- To adhere to Liberty Group policies and procedures.
- To act in a professional yet approachable manner at all times.
- To attend training as required.
- Any other tasks as required or requested by your Line Manager.

Information about the school
Liberty Training has been supporting young people aged 16-25 for over a decade, but so many of our learners need better education and support pre-16. We realise that the lives of these young people could have been changed for the better if only there was a school like Liberty out there… so we have decided to create one!
Our specialist post-16 college, Liberty College, has gone from strength to strength over the years and we are at a very exciting stage in our development, where we are branching into key stage 4 by establishing our new high school, Liberty High. This independent school will support SEND learners with a focus on those with SEMH needs.
At Liberty College, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to better themselves. We help young people aged 16-25 develop employability and life skills in a fun and friendly way, using a combination of activities, hands-on learning and unique teaching methods. We embrace opportunities to learn outside the classroom, from paintballing to trips to Disneyland Paris.

We have a relaxed atmosphere in our college, and our team aren't like traditional teachers- we are more like motivational speakers or support coaches. We don't just teach skills but are there to help and guide young people in all areas of their life. Our experienced team are down-to-earth and approachable. We understand that each of our learners is unique, and we respect and embrace their individual differences.
We have small group sizes with up to 8 in a group, depending on the needs of the individual learners.
