Job overview

We are seeking an Estates Administrator to join our team, working across the Midlands Cluster of academies. This role is to assist the Cluster Estates Manager, providing day to day administrative support. You will be responsible for establishing, organising and maintaining effective and accurate records, diary management, meeting bookings and attendance, note taking, placing relevant orders and liaising with external contractors. 

There will be the opportunity to travel to other academies within the Midland Cluster although you will be predominately office based at one school with flexible working agreed with the Cluster Estates Manager. You will ideally have experience within a Facilities management environment although, more importantly, you will have outstanding administrative skills and the desire to attain the highest possible standards in the work that you do. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. You will have excellent communication and IT skills and are able to exercise your role with discretion and confidentiality.

About Hartshill Academy

Hartshill Academy is a secondary academy in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, for pupils aged 11-16.

Hartshill Academy is set in extensive grounds and the catchment covers very diverse urban and rural areas. This is a very exciting time for Hartshill Academy as we prepare for the move to our new building in September 2023. We are very fortunate to be one of the 50 schools chosen nationally as part of this project and we are all looking forward to the new opportunities this will bring.
