This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised colleague with a passion for physical education, sport, developing young leaders, and rugby to join our high performing school sport partnership (SSP). The partnership is embedded in the education system in the London Borough of Hounslow and beyond; and is overseen by Isleworth & Syon School.
This role is managed by Sport Impact, a team of passionate physical education and sport professionals. Sport Impact have the remit of supporting physical education, sport, physical activity and positive health outcomes for children we work with. We partner with leading organisations to inspire and empower schools to use PE, physical activity and school sport to develop the whole child, school and community.
This role involves working in several schools and across all age groups from Nursery to KS5.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a range of programmes and to provide quantitative and qualitative data, reporting back to funders and to the Sport Impact Stakeholder group
Initially the role covers 3 key areas –
1. Sports Leadership (delivering Leadership Skills Foundation courses)
2. School Games Organiser responsible for developing leaders and establishing a leadership academy, a legacy programme for leaders and helping schools with the remit of the school games.
3. Schools Rugby Development Manager working with Primary, Secondary schools and other partners e.g. RFU, local clubs.
Whilst the position is initially for 12 months, we are hopeful that successful outcomes will help enable continuation beyond this time scale.
