College Manager (Afan College)
To be responsible on a daily basis for the efficient and effective management and development of a NPTC Group of Colleges, designated College/cluster of Colleges.
Salary: Fixed incremental point 3 on the Management Scale, £45,441 per annum.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Afan College).
Qualifications: Ideally you should possess a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a qualification in Management (or equivalent relevant experience). Knowledge and understanding of a learner environment is essential as is experience of working with and supporting young people. You should have knowledge of health and safety legislation or be willing to undertake appropriate training.
