Job overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Community Leisure Manager to join our team.

Our schools have a range of facilities that are hired out to the community for various sporting, academic and pastoral activities. We are looking for a responsible, reliable and flexible Manager to take over the running of these facilities across two sites. The Community Leisure Manager will build and manage links with local clubs and groups, schedule the timings and bookings for the groups, arrange appropriate staffing and be responsible for ensuring a safe, tidy and inviting environment for our users. No two days will be the same and you will get to manage the full running of all our facilities with the help of our wider team to ensure we offer the best service to our communities and schools. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career and open doors into Operations, Estate Management, Facilities and Sports.

This post will be based at Childwall Sports & Science Academy and Deyes High School dependent on need. It is envisaged that a 50/50 split between the sites will be appropriate. It is, however, separate from the school and does not involve sports/activities provided by the school.

Lydiate Services Company are the heartbeat of our communities, providing opportunities and services that will enrich people in the local area.

Our people are at the heart of our success. We have developed a strong culture of collaboration and best practice, with professional development and career planning at its centre. We invest in our staff with support, coaching, mentoring, and a wide range of top-quality training programmes delivered at every level to senior leadership.

If you feel you are up to the challenge, keen to do well and would enjoy working with us, then please apply.

We do hope you are that special person we are looking for and we look forward to hearing from you.
