Are you a creative thinker with a passion for content? Do you want to play a key role in shaping the voice of a respected London college and connecting with students across London? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Morley College London is looking for a Content Marketing Officer to lead the creation of engaging content across our digital and social media channels, helping us connect with new and returning students and increase our presence across London. This is an exciting opportunity to help us grow our brand in a competitive education market.

What you'll be doing:

As our Content Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering content that attracts and engages prospective students and supports Morley’s reputation more broadly. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing content: Plan, create, and manage content for Morley’s digital and social media platforms to engage with potential students, build our brand and engage with current students and stakeholders. This could include everything from blog posts to website and social media updates.
  • Collaborating across teams: Work closely with the marketing, digital, and communications teams to ensure all content is on-brand and speaks to the interests of our target audiences.
  • Driving engagement: Use content to engage with prospective students, increase brand awareness, and encourage interaction across our online platforms.
  • Content creation and optimisation: Research, write, and upload content that informs and inspires and showcases Morley’s courses and cultural offerings in an accessible, engaging way.
  • Social media management: Develop and implement social media strategies, create content plans, and measure performance to ensure we’re reaching our audience and meeting our goals.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, creative, and excited about content creation. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Experience: You have a background in marketing, content creation, and managing content across digital and social platforms.
  • Social media experience: You’ve managed social media accounts and know how to create content that works for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tik Tok and Snapchat.
  • Creative and practical skills: You can generate ideas and turn them into practical content that drives results.
  • A passion for content: You’re enthusiastic about creating content that engages and inspires.

If you’re excited about creating content that drives engagement and helps audiences discover everything Morley College London has to offer, we’d love to hear from you!

Morley’s Waterloo Centre for Adult Education is one of the UK’s oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education, founded in 1889 by activist, feminist and educationalist Emma Cons.

Our Waterloo Centre is here for the curious – for those who want to learn while joining others in their pursuit of knowledge. It’s a cultural hub for adults.

A place to learn and discuss what you’ve learnt since 1889. Because it’s not just about what you learn – whether it’s a new language, sound engineering, jewellery making, childcare, medicine or maths – it’s about the people you meet along your journey.

Ever since our inception, we’ve believed that education and socialisation go hand in hand. So our Waterloo Centre for Adult Education offers the courses you need to continue your education. It’s a place to continue learning – from us and each other.

Our expert tutors are well-known professionals in their fields, with bags of knowledge and passion. So you could experience learning with artists, musicologists, scientists and more.
