From January 2025, Ebbsfleet Academy has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join us in the role of Coordinator of Learning - Business and Finance. You will join an established and successful department with a collaborative and dedicated team who achieves excellent results. This is the ideal role for an experienced teacher to take the next steps in their career and gain further responsibility.
The ideal candidate will specialise in Business and will also have experience in teaching Economics as an additional subject. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to join an Academy which is committed to providing high-quality professional development opportunities and supporting the Business team on its journey to excellence.
Our newly appointed candidate will continue the development and implementation of the expanding Sixth Form and KS5, so experience teaching these year groups would be highly beneficial. Supporting the Director of Learning, you will help raise the quality of teaching and learning in the department across all key stages.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to become part of a well-established, highly collaborative and successful team as we are confident that our teaching and support teams, our facilities and most importantly our students will inspire you. As an IB World School, applicants that have previous experience in delivering this curriculum are of strong interest to us but please note that this criterion is not essential as training will be provided.
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of MPS/UPS + London Fringe Allowance, based on experience and TLR.
