Scale 5 – Point 9 to 12: £25,119 to £26,421 plus £689 Outer  London fringe allowance – Pro Rata £13,124 to £13,785

The Role

We are seeking a cover administrator with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with outstanding attention to detail.

The primary responsibility of the post holder will be to act as first point of contact for all short term planned and unplanned staff absence.

 

The post holder will lead on the administration and coordination of daily lesson cover arrangements, making sure cover supervisors and colleagues are deployed as necessary, ensuring lessons are covered in a timely manner.

 

The post holder will liaise with external recruitment agencies to secure temporary cover as required and ensure accurate records and budget monitoring is maintained.

Shenfield High School is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-18 secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex. At its most recent inspection there were 1,145 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 350 of whom studied in the sixth form. The area of Shenfield has a population of 5,500 and is serviced by a station on the Liverpool Street Line, which will be the final stop on the Crossrail Elizabeth Line. 

Shenfield High School was opened in 1962 and converted to academy status in 2012. 

The school is underpinned by its philosophy of "Learning for Life" and promotes Learning, Respoect, Responsibility, Security, community & Success as its key values.
