Job overview
We are looking for a suitably qualified person to join a team of people working in a school that is a truly inclusive, multi-cultural comprehensive.
The Cover Supervisor is required to supervise classes when teachers are absent, using work provided and ensuring our students stay on task and gain from the experience. In addition we will require our cover to invigilate exams, support in lessons and assist with school administrative duties when cover is not required.
Dagenham Park is a mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 multi-cultural Voluntary Controlled Church of England school.
We have an excellent Cover department and are looking for someone to join our team.
The school, who has achieved the Ofsted rating ‘Good’ in January 2020 and is located within easy reach of central London via the District Line and easily accessible via the A13.

Dagenham Park Church of England School continues to be a good school.
Leaders have reviewed what they want pupils to learn and when they want them to learn it in all subject areas. This means that learning is planned and sequenced so that pupils can remember more and develop their skills. Leaders’ actions mean that pupils achieve well at this school. Teachers check that pupils can recall previous lessons through ‘do now’ activities. Teachers implement leaders’ plans well. Pupils’ books include good-quality work and show how the pupils are learning the planned subject content. Teachers and pupils assess the work in books and pupils correct their mistakes and misunderstandings
