Hodge Hill College is seeking an organized and responsible Cover Supervisor to supervise classes and support students' learning when teachers are unavailable. This role is 32.5 hours per week during term time.

As a Cover Supervisor, your main duties will include:
- Supervising classes and maintaining an engaging, constructive environment
- Overseeing work that has been set by teachers
- Responding to questions and requests from students
- Managing student behavior and promoting a responsible attitude
- Reporting on progress and participating in department/pastoral meetings
- Adapting approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs
The ideal candidate will be able to connect with students, have strong classroom management abilities, and be flexible in supporting various subjects/activities. Previous experience working in schools is preferred.

Hodge Hill College is an 11-16 co-educational school that serves a wide area in the north and east of Birmingham. With 1229 pupils on roll, it is an 8-form entry school. The school draws pupils from 37 different feeder schools in a rich and diverse area.
