Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Cover Teacher to join our school, with the ability to provide classroom cover for a range of curriculum subjects and across a range of key stages. This role is a fantastic opportunity for any candidate interested in starting a career in teaching, or it could provide a great opportunity for a professional wanting to work as a Cover Teacher in an educational environment, surrounded by the support of our wider education team. Alongside providing classroom cover for absent colleagues both planned and emergency, there will be an element of lesson planning and marking associated with the role, as well as the opportunity for you to take part in relevant teaching CPD and training. Subject specialist support will also be provided.
The successful candidate does not need to be a qualified teacher to apply for this position.
The successful candidate will have:
• An aspiration to teach.
• Recent and relevant experience that can be applied to the role.
• The ability to successfully motivate and inspire students.
• Dedication to their own professional development.
• The desire to maintain and develop a high-quality school environment and profile and act as a role model by their professional conduct and disposition.
