Outwood Academy Ormesby is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for offering world-class teaching to all students in our academy. We offer an exciting opportunity as Cover Teacher, working across all subject areas and key-stages in the academy, to provide support to departments when cover is required. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’. We are an 11-16 academy based in the large, north-east town of Middlesbrough.
The academy received a good judgement in their 2017 Ofsted inspection. However in July 2022 the academy was given a notice to improve judgement. Leadership has significantly changed and a comprehensive improvement plan has been implemented to secure sustainable long term change for the academy. It is an exciting time to join the academy’s committed team and join them on this important improvement journey.
