Role: Credit Controller

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000, based on experience

Reports to: Head of Fees and Bursaries


We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team, working across the two Haberdashers' Elstree Schools. You will be responsible for preparing termly invoices, debt collection, and supporting the Head of Fees & Bursaries.

What we look for

We seek a quick learner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of understanding and conveying complex details to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, using their own initiative, and have experience in credit control. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Advanced Excel, is essential, along with familiarity with accounting and billing systems being desirable.

High levels of literacy, numeracy, and financial analysis, coupled with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, are crucial. The candidate should also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively.
