Ashlawn School has an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Leader of Mathematics to join our successful school. Experience of leading Maths would be a desirable attribute however we equally encourage applications from candidates looking to take their first steps in whole department leadership.
The successful candidate will lead a passionate team of teachers who are committed to delivering Maths in engaging and innovative ways. You will be a leader who has the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support the team to ensure that every student makes progress within the subject area. You will have a clear vision for the success of the team and will guide them to continue to develop provision that impact positively on every student in the school.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a motivated individual with excellent subject knowledge Mathematics with knowledge of current trends in teaching within this area.
• Be committed to supporting pupils to succeed.
• Be able to lead a successful team.
