Grade: ME5 Actual salary: £24,109 - £24,473 (full-time equivalent: £27,030 - £27,438)

Hours: 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term-time plus 1 week)

Shift pattern: 8.00am - 3.30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid break)

Reports to:

Under the leadership of the Data Manager responsible for assessment: provide administrative support for school data systems for the main school and RR6 sixth form.

Job Purpose:

To oversee and administer the efficient running of main school and RR6 data systems.

To prepare reports and profiles for school leaders, and facilitate effective management of whole school target setting and reporting systems, throughout the school year.

To maintain main school and RR6 SIMS data as per the job role e.g. Assessment Manager and Course Manager but not exclusively.

Complete and process the student termly census returns to Merton.

To maintain the Learner Record Service (LRS) for creating ULN’s (Y9-Y13).

To work with the Deputy Head Teacher in charge of 6th form (RR6) to manage data and data systems as directed.

To work with the Deputy Head Teacher in charge of assessment and reporting.

To provide training for staff if appropriate.

To regularly review school systems, procedures and working practices with Line Manager.

To provide relevant data for staff in relation to appraisal targets.

To ensure that all pupil data is held securely, is accurate and up to date in line with GDPR

To liaise with the Data team at Merton as required.

To ensure that tasks are carried out in accordance with school policies.

To be responsible for your own continuing self development, in liaison with your line manager, and to undertake appropriate courses of training.

To assist the Exams Officer if required.

Whilst every effort has been made to explain the main duties and responsibilities for the post, each individual task undertaken may not be identified, especially in the context of a growing school which requires flexibility in all of its employees.

About Ricards Lodge High School

Ricards Lodge High School is a girls-only, comprehensive secondary school with sixth form situated in Wimbledon, south-west London. It is a community state school and was known as The Wimbledon Day Commercial School when it opened in 1924.

A larger than average secondary school, Ricards Lodge provides 1,200 places for students between the ages of 11 and 19 when fully subscribed.
