We are seeking a Data Manager & Analyst
Grade E+ – salary points 20
Actual Salary per annum £10,827pa-£11,208pa - Term Time Only + 4 days. Starting salary £10,827pa.
The Role
The role of Data Manager &n Analyst is essential to the successful operation of the Academy. As the Data Manager & Analyst you will produce, manage and analyse the academic and pastoral data in the Academy through the use of software including Excel, SIMs, Classcharts, SISRA, and Google Sheets.
Key Aspects of the Role
· Creation of benchmarks for all students across keystages 3, 4 and 5
· Calculation of KS4 aps for internal/external students.
· Checking and uploading KS2 data into SIMS and keeping this up to date
· Calculation of ability bands.
· Annual setting-up and management of SISRA. Uploading all benchmarks into SISRA/SIMS when completed.
· Creation of trackers for departments as requested and then maintenance/support should departments require it.
· SIMS data checking.
· Uploading the trackers into SIMS.
· Data upload into SISRA of all year groups once SIMS entry is complete.
· Publishing of headline figures for all year groups.
· Production of Reports and Data analysis
Key Competencies/Attributes
· Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role is required ie data management
· Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, excellent literacy and numeracy skills
· Familiarity with business software essentially Microsoft Excel. Ideally, knowledge of macros in Excel and education sector programs ie SIMS, Classcharts, Google sheets, SISRA
· Able to work accurately, with attention to detail.
