The Role

We are looking for a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to work closely with our Designated Safeguarding Lead and the wider pastoral team to ensure that safeguarding remains a priority across the school. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an education environment within a safeguarding or pastoral capacity and have extensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policy and practice. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will manage their own workload and prioritise work appropriately to meet deadlines.

This a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus five INSET days). The planned start date for this role is September 2023.
