Are you seeking an opportunity to help deliver high standards of safeguarding for our Children & Young People?

The Academy wishes to appoint a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, to support our Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure safeguarding procedures are maintained to the highest standards at the Academy.

The appointed person will assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead to oversee Safeguarding and Child Protection. This will include referrals to the Torbay Multi Safeguarding Hub (MASH); maintaining accurate records of students who are on Child Protection Plans or Children in Need; attending a range of professional meetings; liaising with outside agencies and promoting the general welfare and safety of students across the Academy.
