ACS International Schools is currently seeking a Deputy Head of School (Head of Upper School) to join our Hillingdon Campus. The Deputy Head of School (Head of Upper School) is the instructional leader of the Upper School and a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.
Working alongside the Head of School, this role is responsible for ensuring that the Upper School students and staff flourish in an atmosphere that provides challenge, inspiration, and support.

- Creating an ethos for the Upper School section of the school that supports and furthers the school’s Mission
- Overseeing Upper School facilities
- Whole school leadership
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Degree or equivalent
- A relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent qualification in school leadership) from an internationally-recognised university/college (desirable)
Experience & Skills Required:
- A proven track record as a successful teacher and educational leader within an international school setting
- Successful experience in leading educational programmes for students across the Upper School age range
- Strong influencing skills with demonstrable experience in positive stakeholder relationship management
- Proven ability to effect positive change within a school setting, raising achievement and establishing high expectations for student progress and wellbeing
- A creative and innovative approach to curriculum design and delivery
- A collaborative approach to team working, with a proven ability to build and sustain effective staff teams
- Thoughtful commitment to the role of technology in supporting teaching and learning
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
