The current Deputy Head will be relocating to Canada in the summer 2023.

We seek an appropriately qualified, enthusiastic teacher, with experience of teaching in Key Stage 2. Knowledge of Key Stage 1 and EYFS would be an advantage. The Deputy Head will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school and will deputise for the Headmaster in his absence. The successful candidate will need to be a confident, committed, dynamic classroom practitioner and a caring professional with high expectations of pupil behaviour and attainment, able to form excellent relationships with Governors, parents, pupils and members of staff.

The post holder will be a member of the Senior Management Team, have some teaching commitment and will be expected to ‘give that extra yard’. The Deputy Head (Academic) is responsible throughout the school for the development of the curriculum, learning and assessment.
