One of our greatest strengths at North Lakes is our ambitious and challenging curriculum that is accessible to all of our children, regardless of gender, race, age or disability. During our recent Ofsted inspection (2023), we were graded Good in all four areas inspected and praised for our well-established, inclusive practice. As our new SENDCO, being zealous about inclusion and committed to being a champion for our most vulnerable children will be a key factor in this recruitment.

The position will involve leading Safeguarding across the school; fulfilling the role of SENDCO; Deputising in the absence of the headteacher; holding a part-time teaching commitment within our Resource Provision and supporting class teachers with inclusive practice and Behaviour Management.
