About Garstang Community Academy

Garstang Community Academy is an 11-16 co-educational Community Technology College with approximately 750 students and 75 staff. It is situated in beautiful surroundings midway between Preston and Lancaster at the gateway to the Forest of Bowland. Our students come from a diverse geographical area which includes the market town of Garstang and its surrounding villages and hamlets, and the city of Lancaster. We view ourselves as a truly inclusive comprehensive high school, and cater successfully for the varying needs, interests and abilities of our students, most of whom progress to Further and Higher education.
