We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher for Foxdell Primary school. We are a newly amalgamated school that has created a 3 form entry primary school, located across split sites, half a mile apart.

We are looking for an exceptional and talented leader to drive the professional development of teachers and raise outcomes for our amazing children, so we need someone with all the usual pre-requisites of an excellent teacher and leader. As one of the school’s two Deputy Headteachers, you will be responsible for the general management and good running of the school. You will advise the Headteacher on matters of process, policy and strategy, with a particular emphasis on student behaviour, teaching and learning, pastoral and safeguarding matters. You will take full responsibility for the wellbeing and personal development of pupils in terms of the development and implementation of strategies and policies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate clear leadership and vision and the ability to develop strong and positive relationships with all colleagues across the school. They will possess excellent Early Years and KS1 or KS2 knowledge and will have a proven track record of making improvements. They will work alongside the Headteacher to drive the school forward and ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

If this sounds like you and you are enthusiastic to take advantage of a new challenge, then we would be delighted to hear from you. We offer a secure, supportive environment, a full induction programme for all new staff and continuous professional development.
