The Governors of St Alban’s are looking to appoint a committed, practicing Catholic to the role of Deputy Headteacher from Easter 2024.
St Alban’s is a Catholic School, part of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi Academy Trust, with 1050 students on roll, including a vibrant and growing Sixth Form. As our latest inspection recognised, the school is a strong, respectful, inclusive community, with high aspirations and ambitions for all, well supported by parents and highly respected in Suffolk.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with whole school data to drive improvement, supporting teachers to improve practice, and have successfully demonstrated leading change. These traits, along with a desire to implement the school’s response to curriculum developments, will allow the successful candidate to have significant influence on the direction of the school.

About St Alban's Catholic High School
St Alban’s Catholic High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Ipswich, Suffolk. It is the only Catholic High School in the Ipswich area and religious education forms part of the core curriculum.
The School premises have been improved in recent years with the addition of a new sixth form block and library and the refurbishment of some existing facilities.
