Deputy Houseparent

Chafyn Grove is seeking to recruit a Deputy Houseparent for its boarding house for September 2023. The Deputy Houseparent will be responsible for working closely with the Housemaster to sustain the safe, caring and enjoyable environment of the boarding house.  The role is advertised as ‘Key Stage 2 teacher’ – this would be a reduced timetable to reflect the extra commitments of the boarding house, but can contain the balance of subjects and age-groups which best suits the candidate. An ability to contribute to the school beyond the house is an advantage, but the prime focus of this role is the wellbeing of the boarders. The role comes with accommodation and there are other residential staff who form part of the team.
