Campion is seeking an inspirational individual to join the SEN team as the Deputy SENDCo. This varied role involves working closely with students, staff, and families, with opportunities to lead interventions.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for fostering success among all students, particularly those with additional needs, and will have a solid understanding of special educational needs (SEN) principles. You will be responsible for supporting the SEN program within the school, collaborating with staff to implement effective strategies that promote inclusive practices, ensuring every pupil can thrive academically and socially, while also gaining diverse experiences throughout their education.

Campion School in Bugbrooke, Near Northampton, is a co-educational secondary school. It became a Language College in September 1997 and an academy in 2011.

The school adopts the latest teaching pedagogy and staff engage in an internal teaching and learning development programme called “XL” (Leading to Excellent Teaching).  A continual evaluation cycle measures the effectiveness of Campion School’s work and identifies the next steps to be taken to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of teaching and learning.

To ensure that all students in the sixth form are challenged an motivated, the latest equipment for interactive lessons is utilised.
