About Manchester Islamic Grammar School for Girls
Manchester Islamic Grammar School for Girls (“MIGSG”) is one of three independent Islamic schools within the Manchester Islamic Educational Trust (“MIET”), established in 1991. The other two schools within MIET are Kassim Darwish Grammar School for Girls (est. 1999) and Manchester Muslim Preparatory School (est. 1994). At our schools, the faith-based ethos permeates all activities and behaviour within the school and is reflected in the friendly and family-oriented atmosphere.
MIGSG is located in Didsbury, South Manchester with excellent transport and road links.
We are looking for a unique individual to be our Development Executive to join as soon as possible. This is a unique opportunity for a result’s driven individual who has the motivation to work hard and create a new business line for the school. They will play a key role in establishing and expanding ancillary revenue streams outside of tuition fees, contributing to the school's financial growth and sustainability. The site has ample facilities for hosting conferences, parties, weddings and other community gatherings. We have a number of modern on-site venues each catering for around 150 to 300 guests as well as on-site parking for up to 250 vehicles.

This post will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. At the shortlisting stage candidates will be required to complete a self- declaration form regarding their criminal record (unless ‘protected’) and will also be required to submit any information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Any such information will be treated in strictest confidence and used only in consideration of the suitability of the post. Criminal convictions will not automatically exclude you from being considered unless they fall within the threshold of being relevant and unsuitability, and will be considered on a case by case basis or as defined by the Department for Education.
