The School
Craighouse School is a Chilean-British, private, PK-12 coeducational school located on the outskirts of Santiago, Chile. The new purpose built Campus, inaugurated in March 2013 with excellent facilities is situated in the foothills of the Andes and must have some of the best vistas of any school in the world. We firmly believe in the benefits of the International Baccalaureate programme and therefore Craighouse School is an IB Continuum School with the PYP, MYP and DP programmes. The Post
We are looking to appoint an inspirational Director of Arts to build on our current success and further develop our existing programmes. The successful candidate will report directly to the Academic Director and will have responsibility for The Arts throughout the school. She/he will lead a motivated and experienced team which aims to consistently deliver high quality learning opportunities so as to allow our pupils to obtain outstanding achievements, whether collectively or individually, throughout our programmes for 1900 pupils between the ages of 3-18 years. Required for March 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership and management skills, demonstrating initiative and a clear vision for The Arts. Craighouse School enjoys an excellent reputation within and beyond South America for its standards. Through the Arts we wish to broaden and enhance pupil’s opportunities so as to contribute to the different fields of their own interest. The successful candidate will have the ability and passion to contribute and further develop and extend our extracurricular activities, so as to cater for the diversity of interests of all of our pupils.
