Ryde School is seeking to appoint a creative and highly organised teacher with a clear commitment to the philosophy and principles of the IB to lead the School’s IB programmes (the IBDP and IBCP) and encourage and monitor the adoption of the IB Learner Profile across the whole School. The Director of IB will be a member of the Senior School SMT.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher, will have clarity of vision and good management skills. No particular subject specialism is required although there is an expectation that at least some of his/her teaching will be within one of the IB programmes. A willingness to offer extra-curricular activities such as sporting, cultural or outdoor activities is essential.
