Director of Safeguarding and Attendance at St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust

Term: 37 hours per week, Full Time, all year round.

Salary: Grade 13 (£61,330)

The Director for Safeguarding and Attendance will join us in the St Cuthbert’s Central Team as we expand our capacity to lead our family of 15 schools. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time in the Trust’s journey and will have the opportunity to influence decisions on safeguarding, attendance and related risks, making a real difference in ensuring a caring and safe environment is provided for all our children.

Are you an enthusiastic and engaging person with experience of working strategically in a complex organisation? You will need to have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and be passionate about pupils being in school every day with a desire to collaborate with colleagues to provide the safest possible care for our pupils.

Are you tenacious, with a methodical approach for keeping compliant with ever changing guidance? We need you to play a key role in ensuring our Trust delivers operational and strategic excellence in all matters relating to the management of safeguarding and attendance, ensuring compliance with best practice and all current and future statutory and regulatory requirements.
