Walhampton is a truly remarkable independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 2-13.  The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest, near Lymington in Hampshire.

The Headmaster is looking to appoint an outstanding Director of Studies to take the school through its next stages of academic growth and development.  For an innovative and forward thinking academic professional, this is a very exciting and unique opportunity to lead and further develop our strong academic reputation.

Through exceptional pastoral care, inspirational teaching and personalised learning, Walhampton strives to build in every child the confidence and skills they need to become the very best they can be.  We want all our pupils to develop the discipline of study, alongside the joy of learning.  Walhampton is seeking an inspirational Director of Studies who will demonstrate drive and passion as they champion this vision.

The new Director of Studies will have the personal qualities to inspire and motivate a supportive and talented teaching staff, as well as strong academic qualifications and previous experience of successful leadership and management.
