Job overview
An enthusiastic teacher of Drama is required to teach the subject to IGCSE and Key Stage Three students. We are looking for a candidate who can build on our strong tradition of both performance and exam outcomes so that all of our students continue to experience the ‘Joy of Learning’ in Drama. Candidates must have a related degree and PGCE with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. You will join a thriving and successful Arts department with a strong ethos of collaboration across and beyond the curriculum and excellent facilities, including purpose built classrooms and performance facilities.

- Establish and communicate clear objectives and success criteria for all learning activities.
- We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Graduate with an internationally recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience. The candidate must be a creative and dynamic teacher of Drama capable of leading whole school productions and able to teach Drama to IGCSE and potentially to A Level. Experience teaching Dance would be welcomed but not essential.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and postgraduate teaching qualification.
- At least six years experience in teaching Drama.
- The desire to embrace faculty-wide professional development models.
- The ability to realize the potential of students of all learning needs.
