Job overview

Due to our current Early Years Educator taking retirement after a dedicated and long service to Griffin, we are looking to recruit a key member of our Early Years team.


Our new Early Years Educator will support the development and learning of children in our Nursery and Reception class. You will be part of a small team of professionals committed to high-quality early years education in partnership with parents and carers.


You will have the following personal attributes and experience or skills and qualifications

  • NVQ level 3 or BTEC in Child Care (2-year course) or equivalent childcare level 3 qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS
  • Good communication skills with an ability to record and report on children’s progress in writing and verbally
  • Experience of working with children aged 3-5 years.


The role is full-time (36 hours per week) and for term-time only (including INSET days).
