The School

Wetherby Pembridge Minors, Holland Park, is a new Nursery which opened in September 2023 and is part of Wetherby Kensington School. It will prepare pupils for all the Inspired schools in the local area, including Wetherby School, Wetherby Kensington, Pembridge Hall and Chepstow House School.


The Role

We are looking for Early Years Lead Practitioners maternity cover to join the school from September 2024!

The working hours are 7:45 - 16:45. The working weeks are term time only but are paid full time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To be accountable for the delivery of high quality inclusive early education, which is responsive to the needs of children and their families.
  • To lead practice within the classroom.
  • To monitor systems of assessment, recording and reporting on the progress in children’s development and learning.


Ideal Candidates:

  • The post holder must have hold EYTS or a graduate early years’ qualification. For applicants with QTS, this should be specific to the foundation stage age group. 
  • Extensive experience of working with young children, particularly 2–5-year-olds.
  • Experience of leading teams in delivering high quality early education.

About Wetherby Pembridge Minors, Holland Park

Wetherby Pembridge Minors is a happy and welcoming Nursery School in West London, situated between Notting Hill and High Street Kensington.

We are seeking dynamic and team-oriented Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and committed teaching team on a term-time-only basis, taking all school holidays as leave.

The nursery is divided into two year groups, Cubs (2-3 year olds) and Bears (3-4 year olds) both of which have very favourable staff-to-child ratios. The school benefits from a beautiful, newly refurbished building with state-of-the-art, purpose-designed and generously resourced learning environments, enabling our teaching staff to provide a truly exceptional learning experience for their pupils.
