Grade 4 - £24,294 - £26,421 (pro-rata 32 and 37 hours / 39 weeks)

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our Early Years Team.

Due to the promotion of current postholders we have TA vacancies in both our FS and Nursery classrooms.

After taking over the Nursery last year it’s a great time to join our growing team. We have lovely children, a brand-new setting and a great staff to work with. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and would be very keen to support graduates to complete the new Early Years Teacher qualification.* However, this is not essential.

The successful candidate will:

· Have gained an NVQ Level 3 qualification for classroom assistants or equivalent / or be educated to degree level and be interest in undertaking the EYITT programme

· Have very good communication skills

· Have very good Maths and English Skills

· Be flexible and adaptable

· Be willing to work as a team player or on their own initiative

· Be an excellent, innovative support with a commitment to promoting high standards

· Be willing to undertake training

· References for short-listed candidates will be requested before the interview.

· Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check.

· Disclosures concerning child protection investigations, relationships with pupils, employees, governors or trustees, prohibition orders and section128 directions (where applicable) will be requested at interview.

· We may conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates prior to making our final decision. If any information obtained from the online searches raises concerns around someone’s suitability for the role or to working with children then this may be raised with the candidate at interview and/or we may take advice from the local authority Childrens Services
