Rookwood School is a successful non-selective co-educational Independent school for children from age 3 to age 16.
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and talented Early Years Practitioner to lead the educational experience of our nursery-aged children. You will be highly creative, passionate about children’s learning in the Early Years and demonstrate high professional standards. You will have the desire and drive to build on the successes already established.
Our children display excellent behaviour and are keen to learn and we offer a commitment to professional development, supporting aspiration and career progression.
Your role:
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Plan rich and stimulating learning activities that achieve good progression in children’s understanding.
- Plan opportunities to develop children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
- Establish a safe, clean and secure learning environment, which promotes children’s confidence.
- Make effective use of assessment information on children’s attainment and progress when teaching and in planning future learning.
You will possess either:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Early Years Professional Status.
- Another suitable level 6 qualification.
