About the Position

Contract type: Full-time, 8am to 5pm, permanent, all year round

Salary: Up to £25,300 per annum

Start date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role and You

We are looking for someone who has:
  • A willingness to train towards or holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare.
  • Previous experience working in a Nursery setting.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a knack for turning everyday moments into magical learning opportunities.
And someone who has the ability to:
  • Create and implement fun and stimulating lessons that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and exploration.
  • Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through a variety of educational activities and play.

Trinity School is an independent, co-educational, all-through school for children aged 3-19 years old. It is situated in Teignmouth, Devon, and has approximately 490 day and boarding pupils. Bursaries and scholarships are available.

Trinity School was founded in 1979. It is a Christian school built on joint Anglican and Roman Catholic foundations. Pupils of all faiths and none are welcome in the school, which follows a Christian ethos in all aspects of school life.

Informed by the school’s ecumenical traditions, its ethos creates a community where pupil are welcomed as individuals with unique abilities and talents and are enabled to make good progress overall. The curriculum is good, enabling pupils to develop their basic skills in literacy, numeracy, scientific exploration and the creative arts as they progress from the EYFS to the sixth form. Pupils are confident and articulate, use information and communication technology (ICT) completely, work independently and cooperatively, and make good progress according to their ability. Lessons are well prepared and teachers use their subject knowledge well to encourage and support their pupils.”
