Tes is supporting the appointment of a Early Years Teacher (EYFS) to join a School based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

The School seeks an enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed Early Years teacher for August 2024.

The School is a newly built State-of-the-Art International campus. The school will open its doors in August 2024. The school is owned by the S&Z group, and this will be the first British School to be opened as part of the Habitat family. The group has been synonymous throughout the country for its excellence in education, construction, sustainability, and technology. Currently, the group holds two Guinness World Records including the largest distribution of saplings within its schools.

The School is a private international school from FS1-Yr 6, delivering the English National Curriculum, alongside the Ministry of Education required subjects. Successful candidates will be highly committed team players with the drive, energy, and passion to develop the vision of the school. Opportunities for professional growth and development within the school will be prioritized for the right candidates. The school's full capacity over time will be 4000 students, ranging from FS1- Yr 13.

Successful applicants will need to be able to develop their professional understanding in relation to the ethos and core values that the S&Z group is founded on. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly qualified and committed towards developing a holistic educational experience for all children.

Successful Candidates Should Have:

  • Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar 
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a Primary school
  • Proven ability and confidence to teach the age range (3 - 5)
  • Has previous experience of working in a UK school establishment
  • Is adaptable and is able to work with a variety of cultures including their local Emirati children and their families
  • Experience of working overseas especially in the UAE would be an advantage
