Education Assistant for Interventions

Grade: Scale 5 (Actual Salary up to £26,655 pa)

Contract: 8:15am – 3:30pm; 32.5 hours per week; Permanent; Term Time Only

Thomas Tallis is a flourishing and popular school situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We are seeking a highly skilled Education Assistant for Interventions to join our Support Centre for Autism and Language Impairment (SCALI). In this role, you will support SCALI students in overcoming learning barriers and contribute to their academic progress. You will be involved in planning, preparing, and delivering targeted learning sessions to small groups of students, ensuring that their individual needs are effectively met.

We are looking for someone who has:

• experience of working with secondary age children
• a professional, kind and calm manner
• an understanding of the special educational needs of students, particularly those with Autism and Language Impairment.
