We have won numerous awards as a school and being an IQM Centre of Excellence highlights that inclusion at all levels is of paramount importance to us. We are also proud to have been awarded Silver Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award.

Our first OFSTED judgement was Requires Improvement, with good for Leadership and Management and Curriculum and we strive on our journey towards becoming Outstanding. Help to take us to the next level.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Education Welfare Officer/Attendance Officer who will join our team and play a critical role in identifying and addressing barriers to student attendance, developing intervention strategies and working collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff to promote regular school attendance for all students.

At our academy we pride ourselves on being part of a family and this support role would be at the heart of this.

The successful candidate will be a good team player and want the very best for all our students.

  • Experience identifying interventions to raise attendance of pupils.
