In September 2024 we will be opening two brand new Additionally Resourced Provisions (ARP) for pupils with complex communication & interaction (CCI) need that will be sited within Netherhall St James C of E (VC) Infant & Nursery school and Netherhall Learning Campus Junior school.

The ARP will provide support for pupils with Complex Communication & Interaction (CCI) needs, their families and the main school. This Additionally Resourced Provision is a range of provision for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils with CCI needs within the mainstream school.

The ETA will be instrumental alongside the ARP team in shaping and creating the new facilities, resources and curriculum whilst supporting students and families along the way.

You will be an integral part of a package of support that is required to work within a team including an ARP Lead, Specialist Teacher, HLTA and ETA’s to support the learning and welfare of all targeted pupils. The post holder will provide vision and direction for the team to develop strategies which will impact upon the learning and inclusion of children with CCI needs.

This role will involve contributing to the learning for children with CCI needs within the primary phase of Netherhall Learning Campus. The post also involves working in partnership with parents/carers and families in order to build confidence and trust.
