Job overview

EHCP Advisers - responsible for responding to local authority EHCP consultations timely, the identification of EHCP students and applicants requiring high needs funding within our specialist and mainstream provisions. The successful candidate will be required to support student success through ongoing monitoring and tracking of student progress and liaison with the wider college staff to enhance the quality of the student experience at the college, as well as supporting the planning and transition arrangements into further education, training, and employment. 

Minimum qual - i.e. relevant L3 qualification or equivalent is essential together with strong IT skills and GCSEs at grades A-C in English & Maths (or equivalent). Working knowledge of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements surrounding student information held by the College is a must, as is an understanding of quality improvement processes, student engagement strategies, initial assessment processes and high needs funding claim.
